Time flying! 2012 has gone with the clock running down. But it would not be sailing, whilst listing several suggestions that had come up. And then Mod Mark confirmed that two new skills would be released in the end of 2013. One would be a gathering skill like mining and woodcutting, the other one would be a production skill such as crafting. Even though what form these skills will take is yet to be announced, it is still amazing news for us.
About the two new skills, many gamers have something to say. According to game experiences, game fans provide some possible skill name.
For gathering skills, it would be exploration, archaeology or foraging. Some say that we already do exploring, so we did. While, most think the huge massive area should be open for the skill to discover or create. The exploration idea requires a massive amount of content. Archaeology could be in combination with exploration to where you learn of ancient lore. It is fun to discover the mysteries of the past through objects found in the present. In addition, foraging is regarded as a strong gathering skill where you go around the lands of runescape to harvest any natural material for the use of what ever you need it for.
For supporting skill, it would be enchantment, engineering, chemistry or agriculture. We know that enchantment already exists in Magic, but we know little about it. With this, you could create different types of the same weapon in your runescape account, which would be able to introduce a whole new variety of items. Engineering allows you build different mechanics, and it has the potential to become the most influential skill. Chemistry is similar to Herblore, but it could bring a new system of mixtures and creations. By the way, do you want to get your owned farm, where you tend to animals and other living species to make a successful living area? With the combination of construction, agriculture, farming and summoning, this awesome idea may become reality.
